In about 1999, Will Taylor began a series of concerts in which he invited various artists (mostly from the local Austin scene) to forego their regular band and instead play in front of his ensemble—Strings Attached. Taylor creates new arrangements of the artists’ songs, tailored to the strings and other instruments such as trumpet, guitar, and percussion. All tracks here are live recordings made during these concerts.
